As a guest professor of various postgraduate courses at ISEG - Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão and at the Instituto para o Desenvolvimento de Estudos Económicos, Financeiros e Empresariais - (IT Governance and IT Strategy), he is specialized in banking management by the Instituto de Formação Bancária. A professional with extensive experience in the financial industry and new technologies sectors, he has held positions in both national and international markets.

At Crédito Agrícola Group, he was CIO (Chief Information Officer); at BBVA Group - Spain, he was part of the executive committee of Banco Uno-e; at Banco Santander, he was responsible for the development and implementation of Management Control, Risk Management, and IT Framework models for various Group Banks in Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, and Brazil) and was an Advisor to the Executive Committee for IT Governance and IT Strategy areas, as well as responsible for annual Forecasting and Budgeting and the Department of New Technologies and technology applied to Operational Marketing and Sales force.
