Cândida Peixoto.

Graduated in Economics from the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão – ISEG, with advanced training by the Instituto de Formação Bancária in 'New governance and internal control rules', 'Prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing' and 'General compliance', and by INSEAD in 'Corporate Governance for Long term Value Creation', she dedicated her professional career to business association, consulting, and the financial sector, among others.

From 2013 to 2022, she held various positions at Banco Atlântico Europa: member of the Fiscal Council between 2013 and 2018, Non-Executive member with responsibility for regulatory compliance and president of the Internal Control Committee between 2018 and 2021, and Chair from 2021 to 2022.
